Anyone attempting to holiday with kids will know all about the price hikes that hit their wallets and purses when the school bell rings on term-time – so free meals will certainly help ease the pain.

Here are the details you need – and don’t forget to SHARE WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS so they don’t risk missing out.

How much can I save?

Even with kids’ menus, feeding just a couple of kids in one of the terminal can easily cost at least £20. This can easily be saved if you take advantage of the kids-eat-free deal on offer.

Should I eat before or after security?

Make sure you wait until you’ve passed through security before grabbing a table – there’s only one restaurant offering the free food deal (Carluccio’ in Terminal 5).

If you’re worried about grumpy, hungry kids as you queue to pass security, simply pack a few snacks before you leave home – buying them at the airport will incur a heavy hit to your budget.

How do I get the kids-eat-free deal at Heathrow?

It’s simple. Just head to one of the participating restaurants and grab something tasty from the menu.

Are there any terms and conditions I need to be aware of?

Yes… unless otherwise stated at the restaurant, it’s one free children’s meal with each adult main course purchased.

The free meal must be a regular size, or from the children’s menu. Free meals for kids can’t be used in conjunction with any other promotions.

There’s also a minimum spend of £9 (except The Commission in Terminal 4 where the minimum is £10.95).

What are the dates that free meals apply?
